Insurance

Currently, Sacred Joy Psychotherapy does not accept insurance directly. However, clients are typically able to use their out-of-network insurance benefits that come with their policy. This process means that you pay for the services, and the insurance company reimburses you at rates determined by your policy.
To make using your out-of-network insurance benefits as easy as possible, we work with a third-party company, Reimbursify, that submits the insurance claim on your behalf, monitors its status, pursues remittance, and streamlines the entire process.
Reimbursify will conduct a benefit assessment for you so that you understand what your out-of-network options and rates are for your individual insurance plan. 80-90% of insurance policies have benefits that allow you to be reimbursed directly for services rendered from out-of-network providers. *Please note that not all reasons for seeking counseling are covered for every insurance company, so it is recommended to inquire beforehand.
How
Out-Of-Network-Reimbursement Works
1
We provide a monthly “super-bill” which lists all sessions and charges for the entire month. (Instead of billing for each individual session.)
2
You pay the invoice to Sacred Joy Psychotherapy for services rendered.
3
You upload your super-bill to the Reimbursify portal. Reimbursify submits a claim to your insurance company on your behalf, and follows through until you have received your reimbursement from your insurance company.
4
You receive your reimbursement directly from your insurance company. The final amount returned to you is based on your policy’s out-of-network benefits rates.
